Starting a makeup kit can feel confusing because there are so many products in the market. A beginner does not need everything. A small, useful kit is much better than a large kit filled with products that do not suit your skin.
Start with a good moisturizer, sunscreen, primer if needed, foundation or skin tint, concealer, compact powder, blush, kajal, mascara, eyebrow pencil, one neutral eyeshadow palette, and two lip colors.
Brushes also matter. A blending brush, powder brush, blush brush, and beauty sponge are enough for beginners.
